I was away for the first lesson so I cannot write about it, so here is the reflection for the second lesson.
I am working with David for my cover of Lorde's Tennis court. Originally we were with a larger group but when the group was starting to get side tracked I said something along the lines of "Guys, David and I could do this ourselves in half of the lesson so could you please hurry up" And so, David took it as a suggestion rather than motivation and went and asked Miss Heggie if we could work together as a separate group. In our group we decided to use guitar and voice but we then changed to voice and piano because it provided more ways to change the song and it would be better to have voice and piano without the backing track. It was a little bit hard for me to try and sing because I usually sing the soprano part and the singing part for this song was quite low. We completed our cover version of the song within about fifteen minutes because we worked very efficiently and we had a clear idea about what we wanted our song to sound like. The things that we changed were some of the chords and we also added a short introduction at the beginning.
